VoltaGrid will rapidly deploy 1+ GW of natural gas microgrid power for Vantage Data Centers in North America. The partnership aims to meet growing data center energy demand efficiently without straining grids.Vantage’s U.S. capacity totals 1,263 MW across campuses in California, Arizona, Ohio, Virginia, and Washington.
Vantage has 89 MW in Montreal and 86 MW in Quebec City, with a global capacity exceeding 2.6 GW.Its campuses power cloud providers and enterprises.“The sector needs rapid data center expansion but faces power supply challenges,” said North America President Dana Adams.
Partnering with VoltaGrid helps deploy capacity in power-constrained markets, benefiting customers and easing permitting.“Our rapid energy solutions will support AI hyperscalers’ growth,” said VoltaGrid CEO Nathan Ough. With grid limits posing challenges, the partnership uses natural gas microgrids to ensure scalability.By combining portable and stationary solutions, Vantage and VoltaGrid offer a flexible, efficient, and eco-friendly way to power digital infrastructure.
VoltaGrid’s technology can utilize 100% hydrogen or renewable natural gas when feasible and provides carbon offsets for net-zero goals. In 2025, Vantage secured over $13 billion in debt and equity investments from new and existing investors.
