Dangote Refinery will refund customers who buy PMS above its new price from key partners—AP, Heyden, and MRS. Following a price cut from N890 to N825 per litre, it will reimburse N65 per litre on 200,000 metric tonnes sold at the old rate. Absorbing a N16bn loss, the move aligns with Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to boost the economy.

Effective February 27, 2025, Dangote Refinery’s price reduction ensures business partners face no losses and guarantees nationwide affordability. Beyond MRS, AP, and Heyden, all marketers are urged to pass on the lower price to consumers. The refinery condemned profiteering, calling it unpatriotic to buy at N825 per litre and sell above N945, stressing the need for fair pricing.

Dangote Refinery is working with partners to ensure affordable, quality fuel for Nigerians. Consumers paying above the set rates at AP, Heyden, or MRS can report with receipts for a refund. Approved prices range from N860 to N895 per litre nationwide, with a new gantry price of N825 ensuring no one pays over N900.
