The launch of the LCNG facility in Yola marks a major step in Nigeria’s push for gas-driven economic growth and energy security. Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ekperikpe Ekpo, highlighted the project’s role in boosting energy access, job creation, and business development in the North-East. He emphasized its potential to replace diesel and petrol with cleaner, cheaper alternatives for vehicles and industry. Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, represented by Deputy Governor Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, hailed the project as a strategic milestone for clean energy, economic diversification, and a valuable partnership with the state’s people.
