
Nigeria is eager to gain oil and gas expertise from Kazakhstan, Central Asia’s top producer, focusing on advanced transportation methods by land and sea.
During a meeting between Kazakhstan’s Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov and Nigeria’s Ooni of Ife, Kazakhstan offered training for Nigerian specialists and expressed readiness for joint projects. This reflects Kazakhstan’s growing engagement with Africa, highlighted by recent agreements with Rwanda and resumed grain exports to Morocco.
