Nigeria to Present Gas Investment Strategies at CEIF 2025.

CEIF 2025, held from March 24-26 in Brazzaville, will highlight partnership and investment opportunities in hydrocarbon exploration, gas monetization, green energy, and downstream industries in Central Africa.Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum, Heineken Lokpobiri, will speak at CEIF 2025, sharing insights on Nigeria’s energy transition strategy.

Nigeria and the Republic of Congo aim to boost oil production, with Nigeria targeting 2.6 million bpd by 2026 and Congo aiming for 500,000 bpd by year-end.Heineken Lokpobiri’s participation at CEIF 2025 will promote cooperation and investment between the two nations.

The forum, from March 24-26 in Brazzaville, will explore energy and infrastructure opportunities, with a focus on gas-to-power projects and ongoing expansions.Nigeria and Congo are Africa’s top oil producers, ranking first and fourth, respectively.CEIF 2025, a key platform for Central African energy investment, will support Nigeria and Congo’s goals for regional cooperation and energy security.

Lokpobiri’s participation will highlight how collaboration between these major oil producers can drive transformation in Africa’s energy landscape.Global oil producers will share insights on reducing carbon emissions in the sector, with broader climate action discussions scheduled for the 2025 Oil and Gas Decarbonization Congress in Berlin, February 10-11.

The business program also includes a presentation by Lorenzo Santini, Director of Nuclear Business Development at Worley, who will discuss the company’s experience with floating nuclear power units. In his presentation, Santini will explore solutions for adapting Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) to help decarbonize offshore oil assets. Worley’s focus on reducing carbon emissions aims to make assets more resilient to climate change in the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors.

The Congress will also feature presentations from PCK Raffinerie GmbH, Moeve Quimica, Fluor, Repsol, TAL Group, McDermott, TotalEnergies Upstream Denmark A/S, and others. Delegates will gain valuable insights on high-tech approaches and new projects, and engage directly.
