According to shipping analytics firm Kpler, the tanker was transporting refined oil fuel from Greece to the Immingham terminal on the UK’s east coast.Stena Bulk, listed in maritime databases as the vessel’s manager, directed inquiries to a ship manager in the US.
However, a call to the company outside regular business hours was not immediately answered.
