OPAL Fuels Appoints New CFO

OPAL Fuels announced that Contino, interim CFO since October 2023, will continue as CFO of its sponsor, Fortistar.The company highlighted Hasan’s 25+ years in power, utilities, and renewable energy, emphasizing his expertise in strategy, finance, and operations.

He spent over 20 years at AES in senior executive roles, including Global Chief Risk Officer. A Chartered Financial Analyst, he holds an engineering degree and multiple master’s degrees in business and leadership.
